In 1977, almost 50 years ago, Cavalier Technical Services /CTS began as Cavalier Office Products, supplying typewriters, calculators, and copiers that kept offices running smoothly.
Then the 1980s arrived, ushering in the computer age—and with it, the printer age. CTS was there at the start, selling and servicing the first dot matrix printers from Epson, IBM and Okidata, helping businesses take their first steps into digital printing.
As technology advanced, CTS expanded into Daisywheel printers from Silver Reed and IBM, and then embraced the breakthrough of Canon and HP laser printers, which transformed professional printing from an outsource service into something any office could achieve in‑house, all at a significant savings.
